TEAGANS DOUBLE TON

The Diggers Rest Football Netball Club would like to congratulate Teagan Dowsett on playing her 200th game for the club this weekend.

Teagan first appeared for the Burra as a 14 year old back in 2005 and has been an integral part of our A and B grade sides ever since. A versatile player whose speed and court smarts leaves her opponents two steps behind, Teagan gives 100% every time she takes the court.

Teagan has many accolades to her name including multiple best and fairest awards, the prestigious Adele Downey Players’ Player award and two premierships. She has also captained her sides on numerous occasions and this year has taken on the role of netball team manager.

Teagan’s love and loyalty to the Diggers Rest Football Netball Club is second to none, she is always the first to put her hand up to help out, is a huge support every week to her teammates on and off the court and epitomises what it is to be a true club person. Teagan is much loved by all those at the Burra and well respected by her opponents.

Teagan, congratulations on your outstanding achievements, we are incredibly thankful for all your efforts and wish you all the very best for your 200th game and the rest of your career.
